The Sporting Shoulder

The Sporting Shoulder has been designed by Margie Olds to bring current practices and the latest shoulder research to physios in New Zealand, Sweden, United Kingdom and Australia.

The basic course has a heavy emphasis on shoulder assessment and some basic treatment ideas. The advanced class is designed to be interactive and introduces motor learning concepts, the role of the kinetic chain in rehabilitation, and the latest research in shoulder proprioception, tissue stiffness and the treatment implications, as well as some practical case studies. It has been endorsed by the NZ Sports and Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Group and the NZ College of Physiotherapy.
